Setback to Congress in Tarn Taran, dozens of Congress workers join AAP

Tarn Taran, May 6, 2024: In a setback to Congress party in Tarn Taran, dozens of Congress workers of Vainpoin village in Khadoor Sahib Tehsil, joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of constituency MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura. MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura honored the families who left Congress to join AAP on Monday.
Welcoming the workers in the party-fold, MLA Manjinder Singh Aam Aadmi Party values each of its workers and that they will be given full respect and support.
Lalpura said that the leaders of the Congress party are leaving the party every day because the officials and workers in the Congress party are not getting due respect, while the Central government of BJP oppressed the farmers who are struggling for their rights .
"The people of Punjab are very happy with the policy of Aam Aadmi Party and this time AAP will win 13 out of 13 seats in the Lok Sabha elections," he said.
